The Environment Heritage and Resilience Department are specialists who design, maintain and champion natural environment and cultural heritage, ensuring the Citys heritage and natural assets thrive, for future generations to enjoy.
As part of the Environment and Heritage Branch, the Natural Areas Conservation (NAC) business unit oversees the daily management and showcasing of a 13,000-hectare estate containing significant and diverse biological values. Our team is dedicated to protecting and enhancing conservation reserves spanning from the McPherson Range to Southern Moreton Bay.
