Payment systems are complex, regulated and ever-changing. And, while we may be small, we are at the forefront of innovation punching above our weight. We’re enabling the future for our clients through tech like the New Payments Platform (NPP) and open banking.

Our product teams are the eyes and ears of Cuscal. They’re client-focused relationship managers, serving everything from business development, marketing, fraud, and customer support. They work out what clients need, so we can build it and launch it… often, in months, not years.

Shared Services refers to the domain within our Product Division that has business ownership and accountability for the common assets and functions used within the Product Division. • Capture, manage, and communicate requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business needs.

  • Develop and prioritise EPICs and user stories to capture business needs and break them down into actionable tasks for technical teams.

  • Understand TDD and BDD concepts to support end-to-end quality engineering outcomes through well-defined user stories and artefacts.

  • Form and maintain effective relationships with third parties such as Vendors, Outsourced Partners, Business Partners and Clients

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services that meet quality standards and business requirements.

  • Prepare and present business analysis artefacts according to Community of Practice (COP) standards.

  • Collaborate on cost & time estimation for business analysis tasks and support Go-Live plans and activities.

  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients to support project goals and business value.

About You:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services industry, exposure to transaction disputes is highly regarded and will be favoured.

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant degree

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), IIBA, CBAP or BABOK qualifications.
