Position Overview:
Known internally to UKG as a Principle Technology Consultant - is a critical focal point to the customer managing the technical implementation of a project. The role will work with our customers to understand system requirements, develop system plans and documentation, review and evaluate existing systems, and design and modify UKG products to meet our customer’s business needs.


Primary Responsibilities

• Working with customers to formulate and document business requirements
• Using project management methodologies prepare project schedules, reports and budgets. Track and monitor all deliverables, calendars and meetings as necessary. Set performance goals for project team or work unit.
• Collect inputs and prepare weekly and monthly status reports as required. Explain any deviations from planned budgets and schedules. In addition, prepare and support quarterly management reviews.
• Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices to ensure alignment with UKGs products.
• Help our customers by identifying and evaluating inefficiencies in their processes and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour
• Act as the central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process
• Use data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of UKG’s software
• Be responsible for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
• Develop functional specifications for use by system developers
• Provide technical and leadership guidance and direction to personnel to ensure proper, timely completion of work. In addition, provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness.
• Anticipate problems or situations that could affect the team. Assess the potential impact on own and others’ work, and plans determine best work solution.
• Interact frequently with team, management and customer to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, policy, and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in delivering WFM into one of the following sectors: Retail, Manufacturing or Service & Distribution
• Bachelors qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience in delivering application software projects
• Experience in managing complex enterprise clients
• Experience in managing global relationships both within the business and with global clients
• Strong analytical skills
• Superb written and oral skills required
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% on a regular basis
