Assistant Venue Manager

Our well-established beachside venue is seeking a professional Assistant Venue Manager with exceptional customer service skills to maintain the high standard of our food, beverage, and service reputation.
Key Accountabilities
· You will need management skills and experience in the Front of House restaurant and bar operations
· Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
· Respond efficiently and accurately to operational challenges
· Have an outgoing personality and enjoy interaction with people and working with an established knowledgeable team
· We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, under the direction of senior management, ensure the venue runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
· High level of interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills when presented with operational obstacles
· Responsibility for the security of our premises
· Sound knowledge and skills relating to food safety related Infection control principles
· Sound time management skills, a high level of organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
· Champion a collaborative approach to operations between Back and Front of House operations.
Role Requirements
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
· Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
· Confident with adapting to changing operational demands and able to work well under pressure.
· Managerial experience in hospitality with extensive food & beverage knowledge
· Honest
· Willingness to work a flexible roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
· Have full-working rights within Australia
Qualifications
· Hold a current RSA Certificate and Approved Managers Certificate
· Hold a current Approved Managers Card (WA)
· Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
