Due to a high volume of work, my client is looking for a Type A Gas Fitter / Plumber for ongoing work in Melbourne's West. Your new company works in both the commercial and residential sectors nationally, and is seen as one of Australia's largest distributors of energy-efficient products. They take great pride in the services they deliver and aim to reduce carbon emissions and minimise environmental impact.
Your new role Your main role will be conducting gas safety checks. However, you may also be required to work in all aspects of plumbing, including maintenance and general plumbing.
As a Gas Fitter, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conduct gas compliance checks and service domestic Type A gas appliances
Ensure appliance installations comply with Australian Standards and notify our estimating team of any necessary rectifications
