Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Permanent Horticulture Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of parks and gardens in the South East suburbs, Eastern suburbs, and Inner city areas. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of horticulture professionals in delivering high-quality landscaping services. Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of horticulture technicians in parks and gardens maintenance tasks.
Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of sites to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies as needed.
Collaborate with clients to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with our services.
Implement innovative techniques and best practices to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in horticulture or landscaping, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and pest management.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
