The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km north-west of Menzies in . Last mined by Norgold in the late ?s and following extensive resource definition drilling from , a successful PFS and DFS. Commissioned by GR Engineering Ltd in April and commissioned in May , the newly constructed Mt. Ida Gold Processing Plant is a 1.5m tpa CIL plant.
