1. Job Objectives:
Analyze and prepare financial reports and statements for individual clients, employees and the company.
2. Job Brief:
The accountant manages all financial transactions, auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and preparing balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports.
3. Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Manage all accounting transactions
b. Prepare financial statements
c. Prepare Loss and Profit reports
d. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
e. Audit financial transactions and documents
f. Arrange and make payments to the bank and other stakeholders accurately in due course
g. Prepare monthly or annual Tax and Statutory Reporting (BAS, STI)
h. Assist with year-end audit process.
i. Monitor cash flow and conduct financial investigation
j. Undertake tax returns for the company
k. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
l. Analyse financial risks on the company’s investment
m. Assess and research tax issue solutions
n. Provide support on various accounting functions as required
o. Comply with company’s financial policies
4. Job Requirements:
4.1 Education and Certificates
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
4.2 Work Experience:
2 years or more years of experience in an accounting position
4.3 Skills & Qualifications:
a. Strong analytical skills
b. Solid understanding and knowledge of MYOB Software
c. Strong knowledge on tax law and statues
d. Proven teamwork and leadership skills
e. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
f. Sound verbal and non-verbal communication skills

h. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Salary - $73,000 - $80,000 plus super
