Narisa Production Pty Ltd is seeking applicants for an Horticulture Section Manage and Section Supervisor positions for their company located in regional Victoria, Australia.
Positions Available: Horticulture Farm Positions
1. Horticulture Section Manager
• Applicants must have at least a relevant AQF Certificate IV or equivalent AND
• One (1yr) relevamt post qualifitions experience
2. Section Supervisor
• Applicants must have at least a relevant AQF Certificate IV or equivalent AND
• One (1yr) relevamt post qualifitions experience
All applicants must meet the following criteria

• Understanding and passion for the Horticulture industry
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Constant monitoring of the Farm.
• Sound knowledge in Horticulture Techniques and Management.
• Demonstrate a broad and a coherent body of knowledge of crop source and composition
• In-depth understanding of the safety and quality factors that determine the acceptability of products by consumers.
• To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.
Duties for Horticulture Section Manage
• Coordinate with the Farm Operation Manager and Agronomist as needed.
• Ensure all seeding equipment is maintained according to procedures.
• Monitor germination to ensure seed quality is acceptable.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Ensure all crops are correctly labeled.
• Confirm that all seeding and planting specifications are met.
• Evaluate work quality and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage seed stock, levels, and usage in accordance with company procedures.
Duties for Horticulture Grower
• Constant monitoring of the farm to make sure it is well maintained.
• Planning and coordinating the production of crops from soil preparation to harvest.
• Maintaining crop production by cultivating, de-bugging and pruning and maintain growing conditions.
• Maintain and evaluate crop yields.
• Maintaining farm building, fences, equipment, and water supply system.
• Maintain irrigation channels and other irrigation equipment.
• Keep accurate records of spray and fertilise applications for Quality Assurance
Duties for Section Supervisor
• Coordinate with the Agronomist, Agricultural Technician, and Farm Operation Manager concerning crop treatments.
• Communicate with the maintenance division regarding the upkeep of plants and equipment.
• Verify that all crop treatment methods, including pre-planting, fertilizer application, fertilizer broadcasting, and boom spraying of
chemicals, adhere to standard procedures.
• Ensure weather conditions are appropriate for performing tasks to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate with the Agronomist to schedule all crop water requirements.
• Oversee garden growing operations to maintain high work quality.
• Manage the inventory of fertilizers and chemicals.
A remuneration package is between $65,835 - $90,000 plus Superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience
