Job description:
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with financial regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements, and assist in external audits.
• Oversee the financial management of grants, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the organisation’s assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Work closely with other departments to support financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications/Attributes:???
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of qualification.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and workforce analytics.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
