The purpose of this position is to co-ordinate the operations of the laboratory to fulfil client turnaround and quality requirements. This will require the optimal use of available staff to achieve an efficient flow of work through the laboratory departments for accurate and reliable analysis of samples and data whilst maintaining a safe work environment.

Technical
Optimise laboratory operations and staff to achieve safe, efficient and reliable production outcomes
Manage job priority and laboratory resources to achieve client turnaround expectations in liaison with management and senior laboratory staff
Perform all approved analytical methods in the laboratory
Work with the QAQC team to maintain a quality system for ISO accreditation
Ensure all operating procedures are followed and maintained.
Ensure all analysis and reports are completed on time and are accurate, monitoring turnaround and
