About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a results-driven and motivated leader looking to step into the role of Branch Manager Tasmania Reporting to the General Manager Branch Operations - South, you will manage the branch’s business group activities to achieve optimum sales and profitability through effective use of branch assets and well developed leadership skills.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and review business units operating costs, including manpower and assets.
- Manage the financial performance of the branch.
- Develop policy, procedures and systems to Improve branch operations.
- Review and co-ordinate branch inventory control.
- Identify business growth opportunities and implement business plans to ensure that such opportunities are maximized.
- Develop and measure key performance for all staff.
- Develop a culture and desire within the branch management team to strive for continuous improvement.
- Ensure branch adherence to all WH&S requirements.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and leadership to the branch staff.
Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in management.
- Strong business & commercial acumen.
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively drive change management.
