Our client is looking for a temporary
Screed Operator
to commence as soon as possible to assist thier Road Maintenance crew whilst an employee is on extended leave.
Pay Rate: $ per hour
Hours: 76 hour, 9-day fortnight, working 6.45am to 3.45pm, with an early finish every 2nd Wednesday of 3.15pm. Their RDO is Fridays fortnightly.
Duration: 4 weeks
Commence: Immediately
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS CRITERIA
? Demonstrate experience in screeding asphalt in minor road construction and road maintenance works.
? Sufficient plant and vehicle operating ability to fulfil the position and Council objectives.
? Sufficient planning skills to fulfil objectives.
? Sufficient skills to maintain plant in good condition.
? Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
? Up to date knowledge of asphalt works techniques and approaches.
? Sound knowledge of materials used on asphalt and spray sealing works.
