Sharp & Carter is proud to be exclusively partnering with one of Melbournes premier commercial construction businesses. This is a unique opportunity for a suitably experienced assistant accountant or bookkeeper to join a small team in a high-quality corporate environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to:
Assisting in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger, via accurate journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
Preparing monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements for all entities
Maintaining the fixed asset registers
Assisting with the annual and half yearly statutory reporting and audit for the Group, including preparing financial statements
Preparation of Income Tax returns for entities within the Group (shared amongst the team members of the Finance Team)
Preparing FBT return for the Group
