Role:
As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's organization by contributing to architecture road mapping, transformation initiatives, and strategic planning.
As part of this role, you will be working across:
Design and build IP and Ethernet capability and management infrastructure.
Ability to prepare and test cases to test the power redundancy and operation of Telecommunication Network equipment.
Plan optical power budgets for optical Fiber systems and test & verify operation of the end-to-end transmission system.
Collaborating with Vendors to select appropriate network components and technologies for solutions.
Design and implementation of network solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Routing & Switching networks with a focus to IP/MPLS based Metro Ethernet and IP networks.
Extensive experience in IP and Ethernet networks design engineering.
Experience in designing Ethernet based products for both consumer and business market segments including MEF compliance.
Understanding of Telecommunication Network electrical installation and power standards.
Experience in solution integration with access technology domains such as GPON, FTTN/B, HFC, Satellite and fixed wireless.
Experience in designing Management Infrastructure for Telco networks, operational considerations for Ethernet and IP networks.
Experience in solution development lifecycles in Telco environments.
Technical leadership experience in a solution delivery Telco or Service Provider environment.
Proven Communication, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Management, technical writing, and presentation skills.
Understanding of Generator and Power backup systems of Telecommunication Networks.
