Archewell Construction is a dynamic and growing construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that transform spaces and create vibrant communities. We are expanding our team and seeking a talented and passionate Landscape Gardener to join us in-house. If you have a love for the outdoors and a keen eye for design, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement landscape projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
• Conduct soil tests and analyze the landscape environment to determine the best planting strategies.
• Manage irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage and plant health.
• Create and maintain seasonal plantings, ensuring year-round aesthetic appeal.
• Source and select appropriate plants, materials, and equipment for various projects.
• Oversee the installation of landscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features.
• Monitor plant health and pest management, implementing organic and chemical control measures as necessary.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and care for existing landscapes, ensuring they meet high standards of health and beauty.
• Collaborate with other team members, including architects and construction workers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Educate clients on plant care and landscape maintenance to ensure long-term success of the project.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Relevant certificate III or 3 years of experience as a Landscape Gardener or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings.
• Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
