Maranatha Ministry Incorporated
Over the past years, our Indonesian church community and discipleship member has grown. We
are now looking for a gifted leader to build and expand the great work that has been established.
Maranatha is an ethnic Indonesia church that has been started since 2004. Started with just a
few members, but now we has grown to approximately 100 family members in our church.
We are seeking to employ a Religious Assistant (Pastoral worker) to work on our ministry as a leader
to our team and also a shepherd to our congregation.
Religious Assistant (Pastoral worker)
We are looking for a highly experienced pastoral worker to join our team. This position reports to
the Head Pastor. The expected start date of this position will be as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
• Building and leading our church ministry, daily and more widely within the community
• Lead in very activities and programs that your church does.
• Develop strategies and processes to care for our people as God grows the church.
• Provide pastoral care and counselling to the congregation as needed.
• Participate in water baptism
? Participate in building an evangelism program to outreach people.
The Must-Have Requirements:
• At least Certificate IV in Ministry
• Having Diploma of Ministry will be an advantage
• Proven ability to build and lead a team
• Support the Head Pastor in performing the service including the worship, preaching, pastoral
care, teaching, counselling, community outreach, funeral, water baptizing, etc.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies for growth and processes to offer the best
pastoral care and discipleship as possible.
• Good Communication skills, must be able to speak Indonesian (it is an Indonesian
congregation)
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Have at least three years’ experience working as a youth pastor
Expected Salary:
The successful candidate will receive a gross annual salary between AUD70,000 to AUD75,000
depending on the skills and experience.
