The park features a picnic area, private parking, and various units equipped with outdoor furniture, air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and soundproofing to ensure a peaceful stay.
Western Plains Tourist Dubbo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Caravan Park Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their park. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining facilities and services to exceptional standards.
You will be responsible to take responsibility for the smooth functioning of the park and the maintenance of high standards, managing people and building a strong support team, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualification and Experience
• Relevant qualification at the level of an Australian Qualifications Framework equivalent Diploma or higher. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
• Proven experience as a previous caravan park or hospitality management experience essential
• Proficiency in using reservation and booking systems
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Manage and supervise all aspects of the park's operations, including guest services, maintenance, and administration
• Management of staff including roster preparation and performance management and recruitment of new staff
• Support construction and development teams with new cabins and refurbishment processes
• Handle guest enquiries, reservations, and check-ins/check-outs efficiently and professionally
• Work with ownership team to control operating costs and budgets
• Manage and maintain the accommodation and facilities to the highest possible standards
• Represent and promote company on a local and regional level
• Ordering of stock and managing deliveries
• Inform guests of local tourist attractions and recreational facilities
• Attend to complaints lodged by customers
• Liaise with local government to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ordinances
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, suppliers, and business partners, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the caravan park
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones
The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, be career focused and have strong leadership qualities.
Other key skills and experience will include:
• Practical experience in managing a holiday/caravan park
• Competent financial accounting, budgeting and reconciliation skills
• Strong administration, written and verbal skills
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with key external bodies
• Excellent administrative, financial controls and practices
• Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction
Incumbent in the role is expected to operate at a consistently high standard ensuring all work is performed effectively and efficiently to ensure the growth of the highly successful business.
