About Maranoa Regional Council: Maranoa Regional Council is dedicated to providing a safe, reliable, and sustainable utilities network for our community and Council infrastructure. We are currently seeking a Plumber to join our team, primarily focusing on water, sewerage, and gas maintenance and construction activities in the Mitchell, Amby, Mungallala and Surrounding areas.
Note: Position is based in Mitchell, Qld. A Council owned property is available for rent in Mitchell, Qld for the successful candidate.
Plumbing Operations:
Construct and maintain water, sewerage, and gas reticulation networks to agreed standards and design specifications.
Installation and maintenance of water meters, sewer mains, manholes, and gas reticulation.
Provide facility maintenance support for Council assets.
Investigations and Compliance:
Undertake regulatory functions related to water, sewerage, and gas.
Provide advice on legislative requirements and policies.
Administer compliance actions as necessary.
Plant Operation:
Safely operate and maintain Council's plant and equipment.
