Due to growth and multiple projects about to commence, our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing material requirements, fostering strategic partnerships, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Key responsibilities include:
Review and manage current supplier agreements.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
Identify and select preferred suppliers for optimal price, service, and quality.
Collaborate with the procurement team to align with recommended suppliers and pricing structures.
Establish and maintain strong strategic supplier relationships.
Liaise with Business Managers to conduct regular demand forecasting for business continuity.
Oversee plant production to ensure adequate product quantities meet demand.
Streamline processes and procedures to reduce costs and enhance productivity and efficiency.
Actively engage in business improvement initiatives as part of the Senior Management Team.
Work with the Production Manager to apply lean manufacturing principles across sites.
