Direct Agri have 10 positions available for dedicated and hardworking Harvest Workers to undertake work on various farms in the Tablelands Region of Queensland. Positions commence November 2024 for a period of 12 months. There is a possibility this position may
be ongoing after this time.
Successful applicants will work a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as a Level 1 Full Time employee under the Horticulture Award 2020.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Avocados – picking, packing and pruning.
• Bananas – harvesting, bell-injecting, deleafing, desuckering, bagging, dehanding, grading, clustering stacking and packing.
• Berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) – picking and packing.
• Mangoes – picking, packing, stacking, labelling, grading.
• Grapes– picking, packing, stacking and pruning.
• Citrus – picking, packing, stacking and pruning.
• Paw Paws – picking, packing and pruning.
• Passionfruit – picking, packing and pruning.
• General farm duties where required.
Opportunities to upskill in the future will be made available to some applicants.

Selection Criteria:
* Must be strong and physically fit, able to lift up to 20kg
* Must not be colour blind
* Must possess the ability to follow instructions
Experience in this field of work is beneficial, however, not essential. The ability to start early and work any day of the week
is required. Candidates must be physically fit, self-motivated and willing to undertake physically demanding, repetitive work in a range of weather conditions.
