Position: Electronic Equipment Trade Worker
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive examinations and tests on a variety of electronic devices, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and more, to diagnose faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
• Repair, adjust, and replace defective components in electronic devices, ensuring all operations conform to high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Reassemble devices after repair, conducting thorough operational tests and making necessary adjustments to optimise device functionality.
• Provide expert advice to customers on the correct operation of their devices to prevent future malfunctions, ensuring they have the knowledge to use their electronics effectively.
• Assist in the interpretation of technical issues presented by devices, converting complex error codes into understandable language for both staff and customers.
• Install and configure electronic instruments and control systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various device platforms.
• Install, maintain and repair electronic equipment and systems such as audio and visual reproduction equipment, home entertainment systems, computers and electronic security systems.
• Participate in the continuous commissioning and maintenance of control systems, applying comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in repairing electronic equipment.
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
