Our client based in WA is seeking an experienced drilling operator.
• Thorough understanding of the drilling process
• Locate services safely via hand excavation
• Safe & secure use and storage of all plant, tools vehicles materials and equipment
• Operate Vacuum trucks for drill mud removal
• Connect pipes and reamers to drill string
• Locate services safely via vac excavation
• Bulkhead multi conduit pipe set ups correctly
• Load trucks in safe manner including tie down procedure
• Load distribution of trucks
• Unload and set up HDD rigs
• Undertake pilot bore & back ream in OTR & shale - up to 30 tonne HDD rig (incl twin rod systems)
• Grout annular gap
• Competently mix and manage drill mud for OTR, shale & rock drilling
• Undertake pilot bore & back ream in rock up to 60 mpa – up to 30 tonne HDD rig (incl twin rod systems)
• Undertake pipe/multi conduit installation – up to 30 tonne HDD rig (incl twin rod systems)
• Operate excavator for pipe pull purposes
• Notify Supervisor of any changes to works e.g. Ground conditions
• Unload, set up & operate cleaning systems
• Operate walkover locating system (F5 or similar) unsupervised - non suburban
HSEQ:
• Completion of Take 5's on Formtab
• Understand risk assessment
• Emergency response process
• Be competent in UEA lock out/tag out procedure
• Wear PPE at all times
• Ensure work sites are maintained in a safe manner at all times
• Ensure environmental controls are in place including silt fencing & spill kits
• Ensure that all WHSEQ systems & requirements are adhered to on a daily basis
• Full understanding of company policies and procedures
• Completion & communication of SWMS
Qualifications/experience:
• UEA Induction
• Endeavour Authorisation
• Excavator Licence
• HR licence
• Ausgrid Authorisation
• HC licence
• 2 to 3 years Relevant experience
