Task & Responsibilities Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies aimed at profitability and success. Ensure our branch meets key performance indicators related to effectiveness, timeliness, customer satisfaction, and more. Selecting potential service providers, analyse and implement the most cost-effective choice from multiple providers, such as last miler couriers, brokers and warehouses). Develop and execute strategies to keep stock levels optimal while minimizing costs and implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in different hubs. Managing the stocks with Skynet's global warehouse system. Negotiate rate cards with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery for optimal supply chain performance. Conduct site inspections for suppliers who are short listed. Super user of Skynet's global warehouse system and trains other regions on correct usage of the systems. Oversee and assess inventory movements, storage to meet supply demands and maintain optimal stock levels. Spearheading operations management; operations in charge of all inbound, out bound, domestic business. Overseeing the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Providing valuable insights to support decision-making and drive business growth; Evaluate profitability of AU clients and provide customer service assistance, including operational setup. Managing the offshore customer service function. Responsible for Route Planning to offer the best route for transportation to minimize cost and delivery times. Responsible for transportation documentation (prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation). Responsible for cost management (monitor and control cost transportation to stay within a budget). Responsible for Customer Service (address any issue or complaint from customers) Verify storage and distribution invoices for accuracy and analyse profit and loss (P&L) statements to track profitability. Ensure daily supervision and guidance of customer service staff in operational tasks while overseeing billing processes. Develop related standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various operational processes. Overseeing and directing the ground handling agents of Skynet and monitoring their performance.
