What does the job look like?
As a Control Room Officer, you will perform essential safety, compliance, emergency response and freight planning tasks for our Resources & Industrial West transport operation. This full-time role provides coverage across day shift, weekend availability is required. Key areas:
Participate and commit to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements at all times
Freight planning, including coordination, planning and execution of urgent freight orders
Monitor and report on driver fatigue and welfare using fleet monitoring systems
Driver incident and breakdown coordination and response
Completion of accurate data entry, reports and record-keeping
