About the position
This is an Enterprise Agreement role, full time, which will be based in the Sydney CBD. We offer flexible work options that put our people first. We also operate a hybrid model of working, with minimum two days in the office per week.

About You
You bring to this role demonstrated knowledge and experience in AML and Financial Crime risk with a genuine interest in developing a career in AML / Financial Crime detection and investigation. Ideally you also have a working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions.
Your ability to write formal reports is just part of your strong written and verbal communication skillset where you can communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders. You are confident in making quick decisions and informed recommendations, while able to determine when it is appropriate to escalate, and your attention to detail, accuracy and investigative mindset will see you thrive in this role.
Shifting between tasks and areas of focus throughout the day in a fast paced role gives you energy. You can manage varied workloads, priorities and pressures under minimal supervision to deliver quality results with a focus on proactive engagement to deliver above and beyond.

As an AML/CTF & Sanctions Investigator you’ll get to:
• Triage and action system generated alerts, including AML and Sanctions alerts, while working within SLAs.
• Investigate alerts and write risk assessment reports, including making business recommendations.
• Flex your skillset, build your breadth of experience and support the team by providing coverage to the area most needed, gaining exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and investigations.
• Experience a great start to your new role with structured training and onboarding.
