Tasktrans is engaged with leading poultry suppliers in Victoria, we load live poultry from farms to slaughter houses.
We are based half an hour from Geelong.
We have 10 vacancies to fill this role
We require chicken catchers to load transport modules with live chickens
The job entails the successful applicant will be able to herd live birds, have a keen eye for livestock behavior, must be punctual, good communication skills essential. This is a high pace job that demands focus and attention to livestock and crew members. Must be able to work as a team member!
Applicants must be physically fit
Must be willing to travel with a crew of 5 others in vehicle for up to 3 hours per shift
Hold current drivers licence
Must hold full working rights in Australia
On the job training will be provided to successful applicants
Positions are available 29/7/24 and employment can last indefinitely or up to 4 years
Shifts vary between 8 - 10 hours, 5 days a week, Sunday to Thursday
Average gross wage per week $1560
