The Position:
Genus Industrial Services are seeking a Logistics Manager to commence immediately on a new exciting project within Renewable Energy.
Project/Scope:
Samsung C&T and Genus Industrial Services have formed a Joint Venture to deliver the Balance of Plant for the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub Project. MREH is a large Battery Energy Storage System.
The scope of work for this project is to design and construct the first stage of the project including, all design and engineering, civil and electrical works to deliver this battery storage project.
Duties:
Develop, maintain and review the end-to-end logistical model to ensure project demands are met.
Prepare and maintain procurement reporting processes demonstrating project procurement status based on a weekly/monthly progress.
Maintain accurate supplier register with up-to-date commercial documentation.
Managing all in and out movements within the yard.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
Work with Genus Commercial and Finance teams to ensure project procurement and logistics needs are being met.
Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience:
5+ years in a Logistics or Supply and Distribution position.
Experience in civil construction.
Experience in large scale construction projects in a Logistics or Supply and Distribution related role.
Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
