Your new company My client is a global leader in lime and limestone solutions. They operate across the world but mainly throughout the Americas and Asia-Pacific. With more than 1,600 employees, the team brings a range of diverse skills and energy to work every day. My client is aiming to expand the production of one of their quarries located close to Bairnsdale, East Gippsland Victoria and are now looking for their next Quarry Superintendent. Your new role As a Quarry Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all quarrying operations and ensuring the safety and efficient management of all activities carried out on site. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Your roles and responsibilities will entail:

Ensuring safe and effective operation and maintenance of the mine, crushing, milling and screening operations.
Maximise safe production to deliver required limestone products within specification.
Lead and influence the performance of mining and operations team members, contractors and visitors.
Contribute to growth projects.
Manage the operating budget.
Collaborate with and positively influence various internal and external stakeholders and maintain an effective relationship within the community What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in quarry/mining and or processing operations or other relevant experience. This role will require an experienced, results-oriented people leader with safety, operational, change management and financial experience in similar environments. You will also need to have the ability to concurrently focus on a range of short, medium and long-term priorities. As well as the willingness to give hands-on support through operation of mobile equipment and maintenance repairs when required A driver's licence and right to work in Australia are essential (sponsorship arrangements can be considered for the right candidate).
