We are seeking trade qualified heavy vehicle Diesel Technicians to join our William Adams team based in our branches across Victoria and Tasmania.
• Full-time permanent positions
• Flexible roster options - 5x2 (Mon-Fri) or 7x7 (Wed-Tues)
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components, maintaining a safe working environment for all and ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money.
What your typical day will look like:
• Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety, projects on and any new topics
• Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
• Loads of variety; You will work on new and used equipment. You could be repairing a small machine one day and then working on a large rebuild project the next
• Compiling and completing accurate service reports
• Maintaining a high level of presentation standards
• You will work alongside a high performing, enthusiastic team who are passionate about Cat products
ABOUT YOU
You will have a proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and enjoy working with a team.
What we are looking for:
• A fully qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience working on heavy machinery
• A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
• Familiarity of Cat machinery, computer diagnostics and parts and service systems (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of other heavy diesel machinery experience considered
