Position Title: Full-time Carpenter
Annual Salary: A$ 73,150 + Superannuation
We are a family-owned business that specialises in residential and commercial renovations and custom builds. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic carpenter to join our friendly team.
Tasks include:
• Understanding architect drawn designs and preparing layouts.
• Following architects' drawings and specifications.
• Determining materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Selecting and ordering materials.
• Experience in landscape carpentry projects such as: fencing, decking, constructing retaining walls and garden edging, patios and shade structures, concrete formwork, and building children's playground equipment, bollards, balustrades, and stairs.
• Knowledge and experience utilizing different timber joints.
• Working to a very high standard as expected by our clients; and expect of us.
• Working safely on site and understand WHS management systems.
• Quality control and Maintenance of equipment.
Skill level required:
• Minimum diploma in construction or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a carpenter is mandatory.
• High attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
• Experience working with circular saws, drop saws, reciprocating saws, hammer drills, sanders, nail guns.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Good team player.
• Construction white card, valid driver's licence and operational vehicle essential.
