The Reef View team is currently searching for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager.
About the role
· Ensure high standards of organisation and presentation of guest rooms, outdoor areas, public and service areas.
· Assisting in the day-to-day management and operation of the housekeeping department including liaising with Front Desk and Maintenance in regards to readiness of rooms
· Oversee the management of all housekeeping areas of the resort
· Leading a large team of Room Attendants and Housekeeping Supervisors
· Manage all aspects of inspections & room cleans
· Maintain cost control, ordering and receiving systems for cleaning, linen and supplies inventory
· Responsible for the handling of guest laundry and lost property in accordance with Resort Policy
· Assist with the recruitment, training and performance evaluations of employees in accordance with company policies, standards of excellence and values
· Assist in staff scheduling
· Report and coordinate any damage or repairs needed to maintenance, and ensure that vehicles are clean and maintained
About you
· A minimum of 1 years Senior or Assistant Housekeeping Manager experience within a luxury property
· Proven staff management skills; including rostering, motivation, training and discipline
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills
· A current unrestricted drivers licence (essential)
· Full rights to work in Australia
