Factory One is an established signage and design studio located on the CBD fringe offering a unique selling point: it provides both creative design and the means to create them via their integrated in-house signage production facility.
Due to the higher demand for Factory One services, we are pleased to advise that our signage division is looking for an experienced Signage Installer/Fabricator.
As a Signage Installer/Fabricator, you'll be working in a fast-paced, small team to fabricate and install signs for displays, buildings, hoardings, boats and car wraps.
Key responsibilities of the job include:
? Reading and understanding drawings in order to fabricate signage as per specs
? Determine the best products to use for each project
? Operating printers, router and vinyl cutting machines
? Cutting and weeding vinyl graphics as per client supplied proofs
? Installing car wraps as per supplied clients designs
? General signage installation including retail signboars shop front graphics and glazing frosting
? Competent in erecting scaffold as needed
? may include some installations on site
To be a successful candidate it is essential that you:
Have the right education
? AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV
Are well-trained and experienced
To be a successful candidate it is essential that you:
? Have at least 2-year experience in working in the signage industry in particular graphics, car wraps and installation
Possess the suitable skills and competences:
? Proven skills in using the above mentioned signage equipment
? Problem Solving Skills
? Technical Skills in graphics and car wrapping
? Self-motivation with a keen drive to exceed expectations
? A keen eye for detail
? A strong and reliable work ethic
? Are highly proficient in spoken and written English
? Have strong communication skills
Working conditions:
As a Signwriter, you will be required to work regular hours Monday to Friday, but may need to work evenings or weekends in order to meet deadlines and work on projects. You might need to travel locally to complete installations
