Achieve greater efficiency and solve organisational problems for the clients of BC Strategy and assist in the improvement of operational systems, methods and operational procedures.

The role of Management Consultant supports the delivery of BC Strategy’s projects with both external and internal stakeholders and clients. This position specifically includes the responsibility of formulating plans to enable our clients to move forward and focus on the overall management approach, resolving organizational problems with innovative structure, building complex models to drive analysis and develop recommendations to improve the business outcomes for our clients.

Key duties and responsibilities:


Work in conjunction with the client to capture requirements, define policies and other business rules.
Ascertain client requirements using various approaches by way of interviews, document review, surveys, and teleconferences.
Conduct research and analysis of regulatory frameworks, industry information, initiatives and trends in order to provide information and advice to clients.
Develop requirement specifications, business cases, functional specifications, process needs.
Assist and encourage the development of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of organisations' resources.
Discuss business and organisational shortcomings with clients analysing and evaluating current systems and structures.
Discuss current systems with staff and observing systems at all levels of organisation.
Direct clients towards more efficient organisation and developing solutions to organisational problems.
Undertake and reviewing work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures.
Record and analyse organisations' work flow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions.
Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve organisational problems.
Assist in implementing approved recommendations, issuing revised instructions and procedure manuals, and drafting other documentation.Review operating procedures and advising of departures from procedures and standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

At least a bachelor’s degree and/or tertiary qualifications in Business Management or a related discipline.
Proven experience working directly with external clients and preparing business cases.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international clients.
Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyze complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision.
Previous experience working with system implementation projects.
High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail.
