Seadar Contractors Pty Ltd was incorporated in June 2014 and has operated from that date as a company specializing in civil infrastructure works. Over the course of the years, Seadar Contractors have carried out high-quality work on numerous projects of varying complexity while building up the experienced workforce, capable of delivering formwork, concrete and steel fixing packages in the infrastructure and civil engineering sector.
We are currently recruiting skilled formwork carpenters for secure, long-term work on these projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ability to study drawings and specifications
Determine the materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
Cutting materials and assembling
Erecting framework and verifying trueness of structures
Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
Construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and other materials.
Cutting wood joints
Construct and secure concrete formwork shutters
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years previous experience as a formwork carpenter
Drivers Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Recommended Requirements
Previous experience with conventional formwork as well as various formwork systems
Ability to work in a challenging work environment
