ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our execution team for FIFO roles ex Perth, for ongoing work across the Pilbara. The role will be working alongside industry leaders, performing new installations and major componentry change outs in a fast-paced environment with a mixture of both project & shutdown work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Experience working with hydraulics specifically with both fixed and mobile maintenance, servicing, assembly and testing.
· Understanding of hydraulic & fluid processes to be able to quickly identify and problem solve issues that arise.
· Undertaking maintenance and repair work both, planned and reactive, on a wide range of hydraulic and fixed plant equipment.
· Work with Hydraulic components including but not limited to cylinder, pumps, hydraulic motors, valves and perform all service work as instructed from breakdown, repair and overhaul.
· Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and diagrams to solve problems promptly on a wide range of fixed and mobile plant equipment.

Qualification:
· Minimum 2 years as a Hydraulic Fitter within the Mining Industry.
· Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
· Current and valid Driver's Licence.
· Permanent Resident within Western Australia.
· Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including regular drug and alcohol screening.
Skills & Experiences:
· Current and valid licences (Working at Heights, Con ned Space, High Risk EWP).
· Current and valid client inductions (RTIO, Roy Hill, BHP and FMG).
· Previous exposure with shutdown services or provider.
· Understanding of mining operations, plant and equipment.
· Flexibility to work different schedules to meet operational requirements
· Previous experience associated with a Tier One Mining Organisation will be highly regarded.
