Roll'd Australia Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced, full time Business Analyst to join their team.
Duties: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Analyst will be responsible in providing internal independent advice & recommendation to various departments that align with the business’ long-term objectives and to improve
overall business performance. The role includes analysing current systems and structures, conducting demographic and sales analyses, and developing strategies to increase the network’s profitability
The core responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
1. Analyse all store's current system and financial performance, including rent versus sales analysis to identify opportunities for increased profitability.
2. Provide independent advice and recommendations to various departments (including development team, finance team, operation team, and executive leadership team) to develop and implement strategies to enhance store profitability, such as rent reduction negotiations with landlords, efficient cash flow management, or operational efficiency improvements or operational efficiency improvements
3. Determine the business’ customer profile and create demographic benchmarks to assess site suitability, considering factors such as income, ethnicity, and age distribution.
4. Forecast sales based on demographic analysis to provide independent recommendation of negotiation strategies with landlords and franchise candidates, ensuring return on investment alignment.
5. Conduct actual vs. forecasted sales comparisons and provide comprehensive analysis.
6. Perform sales and demographic analyses for each store, including upcoming renewals, to determine negotiation strategies with landlords and assess the store viability for future operations.
7. Develop strategies to address challenges faced by stores, including but not limited to negotiations with landlords, rental arrears challenges, or operational challenges.
8. Collaborate with external legal team and provide recommendations to the business to devise commercial resolutions for disputes through mediation, court proceedings or commercial discussion.
9. Ensure that advise and recommended solutions are in line with the business’ operational and financial strategy.
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelors degree or a minimum 5 years relevant experience
Strong spoken and written comprehension skills
Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the application of statistical data management.
Experience in the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures relevant to the management and implementation of significant statistical data
A remuneration package between $73,150.00 – $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation is negotiable, depending on skills and experience.
