Job description: SAP SD Functional Consultant
Occupation - Software Engineer (ANZSCO 261313)
Responsibilities:
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of SD
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
Required Skills:
• 5-7 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in multiple support projects.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and configuring SD modules.
• Must be involved in a minimum of 3 end to end S/4 HANA implementations in the last 2 years.
• A good understanding of SAP ECC- SD/CS, SAP FSM, SAP Cloud for Customer(C4C), SAP Extension Factory and SAP Cloud Integration.
• Must be strong in Order-to-Cash processes, pricing and billing and delivery processing.
• Must have participated in providing designs for RICEFW elements
• Experience in Variant Configuration, ALE- IDocs, EDI
• Experience in ABAP debugging.
• Experience in working with FIORI launch pads.
• Good understanding of the integration points between SD and MM, CS, Fl and CRM.
• Experience on working with Agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects
• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
• Must have good Communication Skill (Oral & Written)
• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility
