We are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team.
The Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of construction tasks involving wood and other materials, including framing, finishing, and installation. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carpentry Work:
o Framing: Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood and other materials.
o Rough Carpentry: Build frameworks for structures, including walls, floors, and partitions.
2. Project Execution:
o Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
o Measurement and Layout: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.
o Installation: Install doors, windows, stairs, and other fixtures.
o Repairs: Repair or replace damaged structures and fixtures.
3. Tools and Equipment Management:
o Tool Use: Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
o Maintenance: Maintain and store tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
4. Safety and Compliance:
o Safety Standards: Follow safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
o Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to building codes, regulations, and standards.
5. Client and Team Interaction:
o Client Relations: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
o Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, contractors, and site managers.
6. Project Management:
o Scheduling: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
o Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience at least 3yrs as a Carpenter in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Suitable certification or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
