Details: The ACT Victims of Crime Commissioner is seeking individuals to join Victim Support ACTs new Sexual Violence Response team to provide trauma-informed advocacy and support to victim-survivors of sexual violence.
The Advocate, Sexual Violence Response team will be committed to promoting the recovery of victim-survivors and will work closely with justice agencies, including ACT Policing, the DPP and the Courts, to advocate for the rights and interests of victim-survivors in the justice system in accordance with the Charter of Victims Rights in the Victims of Crime Act 1994 .
