Your new company Our client is a privately owned Queensland-based Electrical Construction Company that specialises in turnkey solutions for high voltage infrastructure requirements. They cater to the mining, heavy industry, renewable energy, and utility sectors. Our clients provides services such as design and construction of substations, cable distribution systems, testing and commissioning, and concrete cable duct and management systems. Your new role As an electrical project supervisor, you will be looking after different HV Substation Projects in QLD. You will be supervising a team of between 4 - 15 people and working across various industries. Specifically, you will be:
Designing and implementing work schedules for the project
Inspecting and assessing the work done by your team and ensuring its to standard
Participate in drawing reviews and markups
Participate in HV switching and isolations if required
Assisting with providing hand-over processes if needed
Coordination of equipment, resources and documentation for projects
Ordering of equipment and consumables for project
Arrange transport & cranage for the receiving of plant & equipment
Coordinate and participate in site testing and commissioning activities
Conduct regular toolbox talks and report to the client and to your manager
What you'll need to succeed
QLD Electrical Licence
Drivers Licence
Standard 11
Coal Board Medical
Supervisor 123 & G2 Certificates
LVR / CPR
First Aid
