SALTWATER KIAMA is looking for a Restaurant Manager and customer service professional to head up our hatted venue in Kiama. The full-time role is leading a GREAT team providing exceptional customer service!
About the role
As Restaurant Manager you will be expected to manage all aspects of the Food and Beverage delivery at the Restaurant. It is a hands-on role and you will be expected to be on the floor managing the staff and the customers during all busy service periods.
You will be integral to the planning and delivering a working budget that will outline and set our income and expenditure targets for the restaurant area. You will work closely with the Head Chef to create and deliver the targets and outcomes of the budget.
The budget will have a growth component built into our targets, you are expected to drive the events and the function market space to ensure these targets are met.
Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction are essential for this area of our business. You must ensure that high standards are introduced and maintained.
Restaurant Manager is a Senior Management Role within our business. Your Role and Responsibilities are a direct reflection of how our business will be viewed by the general public. You will report directly Directors of the business.
Responsibilities Include:
• Staff Management and Supervision
• Staff Rostering
• Budget Management and Financial Performance Reviews
• Customer Service Satisfaction
• Staff Training and Staff Appraisals
• Menu Planning with Chefs
• Updating and maintaining all POS of the restaurant
• Planning and organizing special functions
• Keeping records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring that dining facilities comply with health regulations, are clean, functional and have an appropriate appearance.
• Taking reservations and welcoming guest
