The Opportunity
We are partnered with an international insurance firm, to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant (permanent) to join their Sydney team.
The Role This opening comes about due to continuous acquisition and expansion. Working with a tenured Finance team and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your remit is diverse and will include:
Cashflow statements, liquidity monitoring & reporting,
Preparation of various tax returns (including BAS, FBT and Corporate tax),
Month-end duties including GL accounts, inter-company reconciliations, prepayments & accruals, and bank recs.
Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data, track budget variances, and assist with accurate and timely reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
