Job description:
• Collaborate with the QUBE team to create high quality 3D creatives that range from stylised to hyper-realistic.
• Convert and interpret 2D concepts into textured 3D models.
• Lead 3D asset production including Modelling, Texturing, Rigging, and Animating.
• Discuss project with clients, scoping out the design and providing suggestions and ideas to bring the client’s vision together.
• Gather visual references and create mood boards for 3D concepts.
• Create sketches, thumbnails, storyboards, and other low fidelity assets to refine the creative vision.
• Undertake regular research and interpretation of the latest design methods.
• Upskill and evolve skills in all areas of the role/relevant field. Provide exceptional visual quality on projects, creating fun and engaging experiences.
• Observe and adhere to the safe working practises, protecting own and others’ health and safety.
• Observe and adhere to the QMS management system – environmental and quality policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Attributes:
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Multimedia Arts or at least 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
• Must have 3 years of F/T relevant employment experience.
• Must have experience in 3D modelling and rendering using Blender (ideally), 3D Studio Max, C4D, Maya or other rendering software.
• Experience with Adobe Suite including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Graphic design and layout skills will be viewed favourably.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously on tasks from concept to completion, taking lead on projects.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
