YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY
This role is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance, Fabric and Pattern Room teams ensuring product is delivered in line with the quality standards and Company strategy.
A key responsibility of this role is the development and maintenance of global Production and Quality Assurance systems and processes for Forever New to drive consistent premium quality standards for the brand. This involves overseeing the quality of all incoming samples, materials and finished product and working collaboratively with relevant internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure production runs on time as per the critical path schedule. The role will contribute to the development of strategic plans, process improvements and annual budgets to support the achievement of the wider company strategy.

Define, maintain and uphold Quality specifications, including tolerances, and process documentation and communications
Develop, maintain and continually enhance Forever News quality assurance systems and processes, incorporating process maps and SOPs
Continually drive process improvement to achieve operational efficiencies and ensure Quality Assurance process is in line with business strategy and industry trends
Establish and maintain a cost effective and timely garment fit process
Pre-production and post production sample analysis and approval
Oversee quality of all incoming goods (samples, raw materials, finished product), including identification of quality issues and corrective actions
Monitor and investigate customer returns and complaints, and flag any potential withdrawals or recalls immediately
Conduct required technical investigations in a timely manner, and assist with batch withdrawal or recall if initiated
Maintain a strong working relationship and communication with China and suppliers
Work effectively and collaboratively with the product team to support on time delivery in line with the critical path
Build a strong team with a focus on succession planning
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US
Demonstrated experience in leading a quality assurance department within a fashion retail environment
Ability to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with stakeholders and team members
Creative, resourceful and pragmatic with a positive ‘can do’ and solution-focused attitude
Sound commercial acumen and business judgement
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Advanced internal and external stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Ability to demonstrate initiative, effectively plan and be proactive in all facets of the role
Ability to diligently source and seek information for the timely completion of tasks
Well-developed technical skills in production, fabrication, pattern making, QA and QC
Well-developed knowledge of retail (fashion) industry trends and developments
