The Client Services Manager manages the Service Desk and End User Services teams across Melbourne and Canberra to ensure Corporate IT services and support are provided to Leidos Australia staff.
You will also be required to work closely with local and global CIO Services and Corporate Information Security (CIS) teams to deliver a consistently high level of service, and liaise with local business leadership to understand and champion specific business requirements as part of local and global project implementations.
Additional components of the role:
- Manage a broader team of End User Services (EUS) support staff, Service Desk staff and ITAM staff, allocate resources based on business requirements;
- Perform incident, problem and change management, project implementation and BAU activities as required;
- Keep track of team activities and report progress to management;
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency and meet business demands;
- Contribute to solving complex technical problems and ensure the completion of programs and projects relevant to both the Service Desk and EUS;
- Oversee procurement of hardware and software and maintain tracking of system wide software;
- Oversee minor asset and workstation asset database management;
- Manage software and hardware budgets;
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers;
- Ensure system documentation and performance levels are maintained at all times, and
- Some interstate travel may be required
