This form specialises in Will and Estates, with expertise across the full range of Contested Estates, Disputed Wills, Estate Administration, Trust Law, and Family Law. Located in the heart of the CBD, they have been assisting South Australians for over 100 years. Your new role As a Legal Secretary you will play an integral role in providing administrative and clerical support to lawyer's within the firm. You will join an established team and work strategically to provide support in areas such as the below. Your responsibilities will include:
Opening and closing files;
Completing monthly billing;
Liaising directly with lawyers, clients and other parties;
Drafting documents at the request of lawyers;
Completing digital dictation typing (correspondence, Court documents, briefs);
Managing documents
Answering telephones;
Managing and scheduling diary appointments;
Drafting administrative correspondence;
Managing funding records administratively;
Completing other general and administrative functions as needed;
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for these roles, you will meet the following criteria:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or within the Legal space.
Experience with Wills and Estates
Well-developed oral and written communication.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Attention to detail, accuracy and quality
A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
