Whizdom are assisting one of our valued clients to fill a backfill position for an ICT Security Engineer in Canberra, ACT. The ICT Security Engineer is responsible for the analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security. Main Responsibilities:
AnalysiNg and reporting on system security posture
Validating of security controls
Performing security assessments, identifying gaps in security architecture
Planning and recommending modifications or adjustments based on assessment results
Assessing access controls based on principles of least privilege
Skills and Knowledge:
Security system design tools, methods and techniques
Installation, integration and optimisation of system components
Cyber security and privacy principles and organisational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).
Countermeasure design for identified security risks.
Cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Assessing security controls based on cyber security principles and tenets
