Accountant or Bookkeeper
We are looking for a person to join the team to help support and grow our Administration function who has a great sense of pride in their work and accuracy and can work quickly and autonomously. Previous experience in working with recruitment business would align well with this role, as you will understand the processes and expectations of the recruitment and labour hire industry! We are happy to help train the right person and help you develop skills in areas you do not have experience. We are looking for someone that is happy to work school hours or even work a full week or a 4 day week, in other words we are very flexible. The right attitude is what we are after so even if you do not have all of the skills apply anyway!
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Processing internal and external Payroll; processing timesheets and accurately invoicing clients
Experience with lodging BAS, Providing Monthly P&L reports to the Director and Managers
Accurate data entry on multiple platforms
Supporting Internal teams
Providing reports to both business and external clients
Liaising with Employees, Clients and internal staff on payroll queries
Essential Experience/Skills:
Previous experience being a bookkeeper and managing payroll for independent contractors
Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
Work under pressure and resilience will be favourable
Excellent teamwork communication skills with sense of humour
A great sense of humour and excellent teamwork communication skills!
Desirable skills (but not essential):
Intermediate working knowledge of Payroll systems
Previous experience supporting Labour Hire or recruitment businesses
