About the Role:
Davies Stewart are proud to again be partnering with their client team at a leading Environmental Service firm.
As a technician, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of projects within Adelaide, Australia. This role will take the successful candidate across a wide range of different environmental practices within the construction of new methane gas plants, gas flaring and leachate (wastewater) plants. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on some of newest builds and technology being used here in Australia.
There will be an opportunity to travel to different states in this role as the client is a national company. However, the role is based entirely in Adelaide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on the efficient delivery of projects, maintaining key relationships with clients and responsibility for maintaining high working standards.

Duties:
General construction across a variety of different projects i.e., leachate (wastewater) pipelines or methane gas plants
Commissioning new installations across sites
Repairing critical equipment, performing preventative and predictive maintenance
Communicate accurately, concisely and professionally with your customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion.
Abiding by current work safety protocols out on site
Keeping work areas always neat and tidy.
Skills & Experience:
• Have a Trade and Services background for example, mechanical fitter, plumber etc.
• Collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving priorities.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant regulations and environmental standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
